Through marriage!
The Wachowski siblings--Andy and Lana (the fab transsexual)--turn out to have an interesting matrix of their own.
Their mother happens to be the sister of actor Laurence Luckinbill, who appeared in the classic Boys in the Band and many other projects.
And Luckinbill happens to be married to Lucille Ball's daughter Lucie Arnaz.
Which means Lucy was Lana's great aunt! Or something!
