Cloud Atlas Is Gay Positive!

Spoiler alert! Spoilert alert!

A friend of mine saw and loved Cloud Atlas, the 164-minute, 500-year-spanning epic by Tom Tykwer and Lana and Andy Wachowski.

And one of the most intriguing aspects of the film is that cast members play multiple roles, some large, some fleeting.

In the course of things, Hugo Weaving and Jim Broadbent pop up as women, and at one point Halle Berry is a man!

I guess she develops monster's balls.

At the end of the film, when flashes of each actor's different roles are shown by way of a curtain call, your eyes pop with thoughts of, "Wow! I didn't even know that was him [or her]!"

What's more, there's plenty of gay stuff in the film--two lovers in bed, and so on--with a wonderful message about the enduring power of love.

Sounds like my kind of 164-minute, five-century-spanning epic.

I am living for this. Then again I have the patience of a nun.
