Scientology Sends A Blistering Legal Letter To Vanity Fair

The magazine's Maureen Orth ran a quite sizzling piece about the religion and now they're fighting back.

The letter from the big S's lawyer might be the best read since the article.

He feels it's a terrible Miscavige of justice!

"It is inconceivable (to the entire world) that Mr. Cruise would have difficulty getting a girlfriend."

Oh, goodie.

That means we'll surely be seeing a new one real soon.

Started reading the VF article - it says DMiscavige would read aloud from celebrity audits. Nice.

I just skimmed it but it didn't seem very blistering. And from that piece you posted about the Iranian chick who auditioned for the role of Mrs. Cruise, the point wasn't that he couldn't 'get a girlfriend', but that Scientology was choosing a suitable mate for him.

Aw, he's just pissed that Tom Cruise wouldn't date him.  Imagine!  Someone shorter than Tom!  What nerve!

But the way he keeps talking about the "ecclesiastical leader" and how busy he is is extremely creepy.

Sonds like some of his points almost make sense. It sounds like shoddy reporting.
