"Today, Mitt Romney Lost The Election"

Hallelujah. Whoopee. Don't even tell me how, as long as it happened for sure.

No, wait, let's find out what's behind this supposed nail in the coffin of Romney's flip flopping, vague, slippery, but otherwise FABULOUS campaign.

Using the above headline, here's what Josh Barro wrote on bloomberg.com.

"You can mark my prediction now.

"A secret recording from a closed-door Mitt Romney fundraiser, released today by David Corn at Mother Jones, has killed Mitt Romney's campaign for President.

"Romney is the most opaque presidential nominee since Nixon, and people have been reduced to guessing what his true feelings are.

"This video provides an answer: He feels that you are a loser.

It's not an answer that wins elections."

Nope.

It's an answer that makes you a loser, Mitt.

By the way, our feelings about you are not opaque at all:

You're contemptuous, bigoted, patronizing, and not fit for the job.

Don't worry, you'll be fine. You have lots and lots of money.

Snuggle up to your cash register and go away!

Thanks to Rex Wockner for the tip.

Wow, he is stupid - but we already knew that. Of the 47% of people who don't pay income tax, over 10% are elders who don't pay because they're retired. And 28% don't pay federal tax, but pay into the social security and medicare funds. All of them are too poor to pay federal tax - that boggles my mind. It's like a third world country. But what's really mind-boggling is that Mitt Romney despises elders.

But some of those were way worse, Timmy.

Kinda sickening that he beat out the following: Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, Huntsman, Paul, Perry, Santorum

@mikeymusto ... and MIchael Musto's "Romney Number" = 4 (see blog comment; you are authorized to read the comments, right?)

- okay, so Michael Musto's "Romney Number" (like a Bacon number, but it involves degrees of separation from a guy who is not wearing Bacon underwear) = 4

- 1) 1995 -- Marc Leder (aka "Party Marc") and friend Rodger Krouse, investment bankers at Lehman Brothers, visit Mit Romney at Bain Capital in Boston, where executives grouse about a recent deal in which they only "doubled" their money; on plane ride back to New York, both Leder and Krouse are stunned: “We’re looking at each other saying, ‘This is an industry [private equity investments] where double your money is not that good of a deal?’ ” Mr. Leder recalls; next day, Leder and Krouse quit jobs at Lehman and start Sun Capital (http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/22/business/in-a-romney-believer-private-equitys-risks-and-rewards.html?adxnnl=1&_moc.semityn.www=&pagewanted=all&adxnnlx=1347973210-1/+/ehtE9QK/WjDUTy0DjA)

- 2) 2007 -- Sun Capital acquires Friendly's restaurant chain for $395 million, then puts company in Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October 2011; federal Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. says the bankruptcy is for the purpose of shifting company's pension liability burden onto it, which is what happens; then Friendly's is reorganized with Sun Capital reassuming "ownership"; Marc Leder says that's just the way bankruptcy works, "we don't make the rules."

- 3) May 2012 -- Marc Leder hosts $50,000 a plate fundraiser for Mit Romney, attended by 150 people, at his Boca Raton home; where someone videotapes Romney speaking about the 47% of Americans too helpless to vote for him (http://www.motherjones.com/mojo/2012/09/romney-secret-video-marc-leder-sex-parties)

- 4) (August?) 2012 -- Michael Musto posts account of an enjoyable visit to a Friendly's restaurant somewhere in "the country"

I think this thesis is right but it doesn't mean we should sit back and be complacent. Let's keep fighting and make sure we stay in the White House.

Let's hope Mr. Musto is correct!

Mitt is no loser.  He may be our next president.   He will begin to get this country of ours back into a balance.  I don't blame President Obama because ex-president Bush is the one who started using up so much money with all these wars, but Obama is also using up too much money from the government too!  Mitt Romney wants to start replacing some of that money!  I have faith in him if he's elected, and he could be, have faith in him.  If you don't, so it be.  I rest my case.
