Thanks to the devoted folks over at All That Chat, I've got the lineup of what Barbra Streisand sang in Philly last night--presumably the same set list she's bringing to Brooklyn later this week.

"Being Good" is a most appropriate song for La Streisand.

It's the "I want" song from the obscure-ish musical "Halleluah, Baby!" (Jule Styne, Comden & Green, Arthur Laurents) and first sung by Leslie Uggams, who won  Tony for the show.

The lyric begins:

"Being Good isn't good enough

'Being Good just won't be good enough

When I fly, I will fly extra high

And I'll need special wings

For so far to go

From so far below ..."

Its last, powerhouse line is the exultant:

"I'll be the BEST!

Or nothing at all."

Yeah, sounds like too many slow songs. Pep it up, Babs.
