Huge Movie Roles Turned Down By Big Stars

Other times, it was due to scheduling problems.

And occasionally it was the result of no brains whatsoever.

But whatever the cause, a lot of currently huge stars had some missteps along the way when they declined parts in films that would have bumped them even higher into the stratosphere.

Think The Matrix, Avatar, Boogie Nights, Ghost, and so many more.

The list of these stars' unfortunate choices is saddening, yet it makes me feel so much better about my own fuckups.

I mean, I've turned down stuff I regretted, but I never turned down The Matrix!
