While doing the voice of a character from his new film, Cloud Atlas.

Yay!

Mr. Wonderful turns out to be just like all the rest of us!

This truly is a good morning, America.

On the set of "Forrest Gump," after a day's shooting, Hanks yelled to an assistant director:

"I ain't gettin' on no bus  with a bunch of fuckin' smelly extras!"

He so did it on purpose. Tom Hanks has been around the block way too many times not to pay attention to what he's saying on TV. Probably he knew this movie is a real stinkeroo and it needed some hype stat.

The below tweeter is indeed retarded.

Yes, the photo is from Cloud Atlas. Tom, Hale, and the gang play multiple roles.

Is that picture from Cloud Atlas?

He looks like Ming the Merciless.

I usually don't give a twat about a tweets...[smirking, teehee]... (see below and you'll know why)...yes, the point was Hanks (a goody two-shoes A-lister) dropped the F-bomb.

(OMG...Do I have to dis -"Band of Brothers"???)

What's next?  Romney confessing he had a cup of coffee while pulling an all-niter at Harvard?

@mikeymusto What's so shocking about this? That a Celeb swears or that the word wasn't caught in time and bleeped? Seems a bit silly ...

@ArtandFilmLover And if you read what I wrote, I said it was great.

@mikeymusto Oh, I think U read me wrongly. I am just shocked that something so benign made news at all! Biiiig deal, he swore, we all do.

@ArtandFilmLover Right but it doesn't happen on TV much that's why.

@ArtandFilmLover (1) It was on TV. Happens very rarely. (2) No seven-second delay to catch it. (3) It was Tom Hanks.

@mikeymusto ... the more sophisticated Euro approach to these sorts of things. Also, no one's his or her image anyway, esp. The Monkees, LOL

@mikeymusto I still think that this very prudish country makes 2 big a deal over naughtier content. Mr, Musto. I prefer ...

Wow, you can "have it all" (and he ain't even female...though Rita is!).

Actually, I admire the guy for navigating the shoals of Hollywood deftly as a "youn'un"...middle-brow actor, you may say, but he did do "Philadelphia" (then "daring" when he could've done otherwise, commercially speaking) and his son, who I first thought of as "piggy-backing" on his [Tom's] career, acquitted himself nicely (a very good slow burn/psychotic) on "Dexter".
