It turns out Cher was the original gender outlaw.

In a segment of her TV show in the 1970s, the superstar portrayed all--and I mean all--the roles in a mini version of West Side Story, including Maria, Anita, and the Jets!

And she's brilliant.

So brilliant that when she sings "Something's Coming," I always think, "Yeah, me!"

Enjoy.

Versatility has never been this cost effective.

@mikeymusto I'm obsessed. But suspicious. Is that really her singing "Tonight," at the very end of the four-part thing? Hmmm....

Her albums from all decades are always interesting, some of vocals are powerhouse, some are incredibly bad, but always versatile and she gave a lot of songwriters exposure.

cher did it all including marry a republican. she sang with the jackson 5, labelle, etc. remember when she did laverne?
