Pandemonium Coming To Herald Square This Saturday
When the UK boy band phenomenon One Direction says "pop store," their fans say "pop up."
And though the boys won't be at the store's opening this Saturday (from 9 AM to 8 PM at the old Borders site at 2 Penn Plaza), this is still being billed as "an extraordinary opportunity for 'Directioners'.
"During the grand-opening," says the release, "Directioners will have the opportunity to shop for exclusive merchandise and win One Direction prizes including merchandise, concert tickets and more!
"Previous openings in Chicago, Sydney and Toronto indicate a very strong possibility for a passionate, crowd-drawing response.
"New York's #1 Hit Music Station Z100 will also be on-site to help open the doors for the grand-opening."
So which direction will you be going this Saturday?
To the loo, where you'll lock the door for 12 hours?
Not me.
Their second album just debuted, and it's filled with more mature themes, almost bordering on racy.
I might have to drop by en route to seeing how Macy's Santa Land is developing!
