The Hurricane Actually Did Help Obama
The Republicans may well be right.
Hurricane Sandy prompted a near blitz of Presidential politics on TV news the week before the election, helping to short circuit any attempt by Mitt Romney to create some kind of last-minute storm surge.
What's more, Obama was included in a great deal of the hurricane coverage since he's the current Prez, so he got to be seen acting concerned and interested all over the tube, even getting kudos from an occasional Republican for his actions.
So, as awful as the hurricane was and as tragic as some of its effects were, could it have been an act of God designed to stymie Romney from getting into the White House?
Nah.
If there were a God, he would have simply given Romney a severe case of diarrhea during the first debate.
