Edward Hibbert Is Performing Live!

You know him as Gil Chesterton on Frasier, an Obie-winner from Jeffrey, a Broadway scene-stealer in The Drowsy Chaperone and Curtains, and from so many other credits.

He's witty, wise, and a snappy dresser.

And he's doing a live cabaret show which sounds like a must-see for urbane New Yorkers and their friends.

Here's what Edward Hibbert told me about his upcoming appearances at 54 Below.

"The show is called Can't Something Be Done? An Evening with Edward Hibbert.

"I'll be kicking it off on two Mondays, Feb 11th and 18th at 7.00

"There will be some songs by Coward and Porter, some new songs by Sam Davis, who's accompanying me, and anecdotes about London theatre, theatrical landladies, Bette Davis, the joys of being part of the Frasier experience, the hell of being trapped in a flop remake of Fantasy Island in Hawaii, and the insanity of being mistaken for Paul McCartney!!

"Mark Waldrop is staging it. He's worked with Bea Arthur, Bette Midler, and Brooke Shields, so I'm in very good hands!!"

I'll say.
