Also, "I'd rather hear about Clive's sex life than yours." Huh? But you're delighted he waited till he was in his 80s? People like Musto have been honest from day one. And I'd rather have a bitchy, but funny and opinionated queen than a closet case who closeted Whitney to make her famous.

"A person's timing is not your business." Yes, it is the business of the press when it comes to public figures. Sorry the last commenter feels so protective of the celebrity closet, but if it were not for the writings of people writing the truth all these years, few celebrities would have ever come out. It's sad there are still people who feel being gay has to be protected rather than something that should be simply told the truth about, especially when it comes to rich, famous people who treat it as if it were a horrible secret. When they're has beens and come out to sell a book it's truly disturbing.

I am sorry, but a person timing is not your business. Every gay or bi person has the right to come out when they wish even if its for selling a book. Sometimes I feel they obvious gay character is jealous because they weren't afforded the same ability to do so. Being a bitchy gay isn't cute Mr. Musto, I'd rather hear about Clives sex life then yours any day of the week.

"I am sorry, but a person timing is not your business"....Michael didn't put it out there, HE DID. Yes, it would've been better if he simply said, "I regret misleading people" that's the Musto point.

This is not a "private" person...this is a very public person, telling on his own, publicly (no one "forced" him to write a book), soo the "timing" IS everyone's business (good or bad) whether you like it or not.
