Daniel Radcliffe Is British From The Waist Up

Radcliffe_cover-main.jpeg
That little wizard Daniel Radcliffe plays young gay poet Allen Ginsberg in the upcoming film Kill Your Darlings, so he posed for luscious shots by Kai Z Feng for an Out magazine story written by editor Aaron Hicklin.

In the piece, Radcliffe answers a question about playing gay like so:

"You never see a gay actor getting asked what it's like to play straight--to my knowledge, at least, there is no difference in how heterosexual and homosexual people fall in love."

Sensible little wizard!

The film's director is also quoted, saying he had a momentary panic about casting Radcliffe as Ginsberg because Radciffe isn't Jewish.

Replied the director's boyfriend, "Of course he's Jewish--everyone in the world knows that. Didn't you see the shots from Equus? He's only British from the waist up."

LOL.

Besides, if you don't have to be gay to play gay, why should you have to be Jewish to play Jewish?

Daniel Radcliffe IS Jewish, and so, by the way, is James Franco, who played Ginsberg last time. And so is most of the cast of this new movie (Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kyra Sedgwick, David Cross [despite his atheism], and Ben Foster). Some people need to get with the program.

Daniel Radcliffe is what people imagine that Pattinson guy to be .

He's offbeat, distinctively  handsome,  a stage star, a movie star,  articulate and a real ACTOR.

And whatever his sexuality is, he is truly sexual and uses this natural gift as part of his set of performance  skills.

A very smart, very talented young man. Look how seamlessly he's managed to morph from child star to adult roles. He knows what it's all about.

I love the last photo, in red.  He looks most handsome there.  He might end up being more handsome as a man even though he was a cute boy.  Lucky him.  But in truth, deeply and personally, I think he's at least bisexual.  we've been questioning his sexuality for years, as he passed through puberty, and there must not only be a reason for that, but the timing of it surely has profoundly affected him.

@fallflies So is David Cross, who played Ginsberg in I'm Not There. I'd almost say that Allen Ginsberg is getting more exposure than when he was still in his last incarnation.
