Here's a rather knowing slide show of the top 10 reasons Glee lost its tight harmonies. (Click "Next" to go to the next reason, obviously.)

Among the main excuses:

Recycled story lines.

Too many characters, too many subplots.

Kitty. ("There's nothing redeeming about her.")

And the main one:

"Everyone's having a pity party. There's no more glee in Glee.

"Finn is despondent about losing Rachel, Marley has an eating disorder, Ryder has dyslexia, Tina bawled over her unrequited love for Blaine (Um, he's GAY), Emma was a hot OCD mess trying to plan her wedding, and Sam can't afford college."

Otherwise, it's really fun!!!

I stopped after the season finale from last year when Kurt was rejected into the Broadway school; they had a chance to really make him a star and instead he had to play 2nd fiddle to Rachel, yawn.  So the gay character still can't succeed?  I was very disappointed.

Better question: Why would anyone start watching that awful show?

It's funny I haven't stop to think about why, but I just lost interest completely and I watched from the beginning!!

Well. This show got old pretty quickly, huh? Wasn't this the greatest thing since sliced bread a scant two seasons ago?

I love kurt's boyfriend (ex?) singing 'teenage dream' - 2 versions. One when Kurt first got to the boys school and the second solo at a piano bar or something. The latter was very dramatic and emotional. Sigh.  I think his name is Blaine.

I've watched occasionally, and some episodes have been very funny. "A Very Glee Christmas" in season two was great. One plot line followed my fave Brittanny still believing in Santa, another followed mean Sue as the Grinch - replaying scenes straight from Chuck Jones.

I haven't seen more than a few minutes of any episode for awhile, for undefined reasons. The specific reasons in the top ten don't really apply for the casual viewer. If the main theme of an episode  doesn't interest you, there's no hook to pull you in.

It's time to turn Glee into glue.

un huh.

I aint watching that shit.

I remember being intrigued by the commercials for the show and tuned in specifically because I recognized Jane Lynch in the ads from the 40 Year Old Virgin in which she was hilarious.

For the first episode I watched about 2 minutes and turned that shit off!

IT BORED ME.

cats in a blender describes the singing by the leads.

autotune/tone deaf.

"9. Declining musical quality"

The "mash-ups" got waaay too predictable and boring...I quit watching after Kurt went to the all boys school...and the "boyfriend" thing took way too long to "consummate"...did it?  I didn't stay around long enough...it was too "cock-teasey" for me...I mean Kurt (out, loud and proud)  suddenly wants a "meaningful" relationship...in high school...hormones raging AND there's an appropriate hottie who's go-to-go?

I never watched it in the first place!
