Alec Baldwin Fires At Shia, Who Fires Back!

They're having a wild old time backstage at one of the dramas on the Great White Way (but I don't envy the director).

Let me explain.

Shia LaBeouf was recently fired from the Broadway production of the play Orphans because of "creative differences" and was replaced by Ben Foster.

Supposedly Shia had come in with a fully developed interpretation, which was potentially admirable except he wasn't changing and meshing and doing that theatery thing, so he was let go.

The axed movie star promptly put private emails up on twitter, including one from costar Alec Baldwin swearing he didn't have a bad word to say about Shia.

But once the emails went public, so did Alec.

He said to Vulture:

"I can tell you that, in all honesty, I don't think he's in a good position to be giving interpretations of what the theater is and what the theater is. I mean, he was never in the theater. He came into a rehearsal room for six or seven days.

"Many films actors," added Baldwin, "who are purely film actors, they're kind of like celebrity chefs, you know what I mean?"

Ouch. So much for not a bad word to say.

LaBeouf countered by tweeting an email from Orphans' director Daniel Sullivan that made it sound like Baldwin's the one who needs to do his homework.

("I suspect he's not nearly as prepared as you are," Sullivan had emailed, explaining that he'd worked with Baldwin before and he buries his head in the script at readings.

A director emailing a costar something like that was not only extremely divisive IMHO, but it provided a paper trail--not a good idea, especially if you're going to go on and unemploy the person you're emailing!)

Shia captioned this posting "celebrity."

And now, knowing how hot tempered Alec Baldwin can be, would you want to be Daniel Sullivan?

I'd even rather be the fired Shia!

There was no man alive sexier than Alec Baldwin when that picture was taken.

I doubt if I'm the first to say it but the simplest solution is to just get out the rulers and measure once and for all.

Alec shouldn't say Shia only had a few days in a theater. He wanted more, but he was  fired!

Shia Le WHo? What a tart the guy is. 'Interpretations' right up there with all these tarts masquerading around calling themsleves 'artists'. Burn Rome, burn.

that shot of Alec is making me hard, Shia La Douche.

Translation: This play is gonna suck.

Is any of this helping the box office? That would be maybe the only good thing to come out of it. But yeah., daniel Sullivan should go to the theater with armed guards from now on.

I'm scared of these people, especially Alec B.
