Craziest Cover Version Evah!

It's Paul Anka's crazy, swingin' remake of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," which he recorded for his cross-pollinating experiment of a Rock Swings album in 2006.

Watch Anka do it live, smiling and swingin' as he jazzes up lyrics like "A mulatto, an albino, a mosquito, my libido."

This version is so wrong it's wrong, but I have to say I haven't been so captivated by a musical hybrid since Diana Ross's upbeat version of "I Loves You Porgy."

Thanks to DJ Johnny Dynell for turning me on to this wacky bit of magic.

@mikeymusto Scratch what I just told you. Diana sang it on a live album from the early 1970s. Maybe Live At Ceasers Palace.I think anyhow!
