The "C" word -- and I don't mean cow -- has been bandied about for so long now it's near to being commonplace in our language. Save for the situation -- I don't approve of the use of vulgar language or acts in media generally accessible to children like nationally broadcast television -- what's the big deal?
There are daily examples of vulgarity in which nary a word listed as profane or vulgar is used.
By the way, I was of the understanding that all of these programs had a tape delay to prevent such things from happening. Why isn't anyone asking the broadcaster what went wrong?
