Toy Story: Hillary's Become More Plastic Than Ever

Posted by Michael Musto at 3:00 PM, March 24, 2008

I was Googling "Obamakinz plush toy"—well, it was a slow day—and I came up with this site, which not only has that particular political plaything for sale, it offers a muscled Giuliani doll, a Cheney figure complete with "You Don't Know Dick" shirt and wayward shotgun, a Larry "I am not gay" Craig playmate, a cuddly Condi action figure, and a spiffily dressed Barack and Hillary dream team. These clever collectibles turn controversial icons into cute conversation pieces that mix accuracy with satire. Best of all is the talking Jesus Christ action figure (staff and sandals not included) reciting the 10 commandments that all the above figures seem to have forgotten. But where the hell is Spitzer's doll? Oh, yeah, she's busy recording her latest single.

re: the title of this thread, why do you trash Hillary so much? I think she's a lot more qualified, genuine & down-to-earth than Barack & his plastic, attention whore wife? The Obamas seem a shade shady to me.

to me, hillary seems more plastic-y than the others, but I guess all politicians by necessity lean on the side of fakery, so perhaps I shouldn't have singled her out.

Plastic? Dahling, if you want some plastic, take a look at former human Priscilla Presley. She looks like she's wearing one of those "Scream" masks. She used to be so pretty. Now she could easily play me (at my nicotine-stained, alcoholic, raspy best) in a new remake of "Die! Die! My Darling." As for Hillary, you precious little "Fan Geek," I like her too, but I'd like her better if she actually came out of the closet as a Hard Rubber Bull Dagger.

The Barack plush toy looks more like Al Roker! Al is really getting heavy again like Carnie.

The Obama doll looks like a pinhead from that movie Freaks.

The Howard Dean doll "talks." A misnomer. I bet it screams!
