Down in the Dempsey with Patrick's New Wedding Comedy

Posted by Michael Musto at 1:30 PM, April 21, 2008

A journalist friend of mine just interviewed Patrick Dempsey and made a Freudian slip that almost caused the biggest Grey's Anatomy-related conflict since Isaiah Washington said the f word. Well, I might be exaggerating just a little bit. But what happened was my friend casually remarked to the actor, "So, you've made two wedding flicks in a row—Enchanted and 27 Dresses." Dempsey didn't seem too happy with this observation. In fact, he looked as if he was a character from his TV show who'd just gotten a very grim prognosis. 27 Dresses, of course, was the wedding comedy starring ANOTHER Grey's Anatomy star, Katherine Heigl! Dempsey's own immortal movie, naturally, is called Made of Honor. The rest of the interview was apparently as strained as the one where I asked Debbie Reynolds if she ever slept with Agnes Moorehead.

By any name, this movie looks like a turd, but I love Dempsey. he's a cutie!

All I can remember whenever I see Patrick Dempsey is some '80s movie where he's sitting on a bed talking to his out and proud little Dempsey...or maybe I'm confusing him with Tom Berenger...hard to tell, '80s mainstream cock shots were few and far between.

We think Dempsey's hair looks way too thick for his age.... Hmmmm hair implants/transplants?

So Patrick tell us a little about your hair line. Yeess?

Ciao,

Gwen and Mitzi (Norma is on vacation down south)

Why are you giving these breeder comedies p.r., they don't need it. How about more nostalgia features on celebs and downtown people who don't get so much press?

hehehe that's hilarious!! I think this Patrick Dempsey guy is horrifically over rated!! Just a few years ago he was a washed up actor who couldn't get a decent job, now he's some sex god.

Dear lord, I liked him better in "Can't buy me Love". (1987) That's when he had that adorable, nerdy charm.

Plus, doesn't this stupid "Made of Honor" movie have the EXACT same storyline as "My Best Friend's Wedding"???

I don't think Debbie Reynolds SLEPT with Aggie Moorehead, but I think there was some light pussy-bumping. Aggie liked her gals to be more on the seriously dykey side. like Judith Anderson or Nancy Culp.

That pic of him in the poster is sooo photoshopped. He ain't that pretty, believe me I've seen him in daylight at Starbucks at 7 a.m.
