Fashion died with Balenciaga, dahling. But there was no entertainer quite like Gerald Little. One of a kind! I hope he's up in Heaven whirling around in a big chiffon cloud with all the other drag angels.

Sad news indeed. Gerard was a sweet wonderful man. One of my favorite memories was being a contestant with him, RuPaul & Doug Wah on the Gay Dating Game.

I'm sorry I won't be in town to pay my respects.

He never tried that hard to be super fabulous on the scene, which was seet. Nice guy.

I am completely heartbroken. I first met Gerard at Club 57 in 1980 where he performed as "Frankie Lymon's Nephew and the Drugged Adults." I will never forget the immortal lyrics to "They're Going to Shoot Reagan:"

They're going to shoot Reagan but I don't care
Cause I'm going to fuck Nancy on the White House stairs
I saw Ron Jr at the Anvil, I saw him getting rimmed
They say that he got married and that ballet keeps him trim.

R.I.P Mr. Fashion. I love and miss you.

Gerard was a creative force to be reckoned with. Gorgeous and inspiring in every way.

Famous for his one liners like: "Take me out, I'm garbage, pick me up I'm trash." and couture gowns made from black plastic garbage bags.

I had the pleasure of performing with his Frankie Lymon's Nephew and the Drugged Adults show at Danceteria, Life Cafe and Club 57. I visited his home in the early '80s, in Spanish Harlem, a creative haven housed in a railroad apartment.

I'll miss Gerard and his amazing energy.

Another light in our city goes out.

Gerard was my favorite person and friend at the Pyramid way back in 1985-86. He always had me dress up in trash bags and prance around the stage in his wonderful shows. I have always missed you Gerard and now I miss you more. I love you.

Who could forget his performance at Wigstock '88:

"They shot Martin Luther,
But they won't shoot me.
Because I will not be found
On any balcony!"

My heart dropped learning that one of my dearest friend's had departed us. Gerard was instrumental (in conjunction with Mr. Renee (Royston Scott) in launching my film career. He taught me how to deliver my goods in his "Hold On I'm Coming" video and Palladium's speakers' were our sleeping pads after a long night of partying not to mention our countless antics at Studio 54. My most memorable experience was filming "Freedom Ho or Harriet Tubman's Tale," in particular the scene when he reached the promise land (Harlem) via the underground railroad (subway tracks) on 125th Street (lol). Thanks for showing me how to be a lady, telling me what necessities should always be in my purse and how to walk in stilletos. You are gone, but never forgotten!!!!!
