The Rudest, Most Patronizing Moment in Last Night's Debate

By Michael Musto, Wednesday, Oct. 8 2008 @ 2:41AM
Comments (5)

When McCain gestured to Obama and condescendingly referred to him as "that one". "That one"? Not even "that candidate over there"? Or at least "that man"? Yikes! It was almost as cold as when Cindy McCain came out at the end and barely acknowledged her hubby.

Another patronizing moment came every time McCain looked out at the populace and called us "my friends." Never assume, honey!

Of course Obama didn't exactly do himself proud by asking us to join him on this "extraordinary journey that we call America." Yeccch. I don't expect Hallmark card messages from that one!

No, he calls his wife a cunt. After that, I was waiting for him to call Obama "boy."

QueersSuck says:

Calling Cindy, deservingly, a cunt--that I can see! Calling Obama a boy? Not so much! Because he might get a cap busted in his ass from the homies!

Dr. Ivo Pitanguy says:

I have nothing against plastic surgery but I detest women who aim to look and dress like 16 year old debutantes while well into their 50s or 80s.

JM and CM have lived apart almost since the beginning of their marriage and clearly barely tolerate each other. It's hard to know whether she just hates JM or the entire political process or both. I hope she's back on the Vicodin. She looks like she needs it perhaps with a little Klonipin to take the edge off.

The Late Tallulah Bankhead says:

Of course that old tired windbag John "I Was A POW" McCain calls Cindy a cunt. Everyone does! I was having lunch with she and a few ladies of a certain age (Lauren Bacall, Lynn Wyatt, Rip Taylor) and we all called Cindy "Cunt-y" and she just loved it! Even the waiter was calling her that, especially when he saw the stingy tip the bitch left him.
