In 1975, when Gwen Verdon hurt herself and had to drop out of the original production of Chicago for a while, Liza Minnelli valiantly stepped in and dazzled alongside Gwen's costar Chita Rivera. This photo of the three divas together makes me very happy and all that jazz, so I thought I'd share it with you theater queens in the dark, as a gratuitous nod to old-style hoofers with star quality. If anyone ever knew how to give 'em the old razzle dazzle, it's these three. I like to be in America.
