Neverland Ranch Raid Photos

Here's a fun slide show, kids! It consists of all the best photos from the raid of Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch in 2003, a search that found piles and piles of kitsch and a couple of Clorox bottles. Thrill to the mountains of Shirley Temple pictures, the hills of Beatles memorabilia, and the offbeat painting of a beaming Jacko surrounded by angelic looking children. Search all the slides and see if you can find the one that has a life-size doll of a boy with his legs up in the air, and the other featuring a painting of a baby with a milky substance falling from its lips.

I am not making this shit up, people!

By the way, Michael was a great musical artist.

The other slide show which is linked to the raid pics is full of shots of drugs, like morphine. Hmmmm.

my question to you...truthfully, do you think he was insane or just weird?

Southern Dave says:

All of these stars who ODed were longtime drug users who had multiple doctors prescribing multiple drugs for them:

Marilyn, Elvis, Judy, Michael.

All bigger than life personalities, all amazing talents, all deluded enough by pharmaceuticals, adulation and the inability of people to say "No" to them. They thought they could do anything, beat anything, survive anything because they had all bounced back before. But there comes a time when mind and body can stand only so much,

Gerold Frank, who wrote some of the first "tell-all" books about such people, said, "Inevitably, conspiracy theories pop up. I never believe them. Usually they die of the synergistic effects of drugs and alcohol or just the wrong combination of drugs."

With All of those pictures and mementos of Shirley Temple I was reminded of the time I saw Richard Simmons dressed as her out and about in Hollyweird.. Purportedly, she was always a favorite of his!!!

Kazu K says:

I think superstars should be just like Michael: weird beyond beleif.

Outstanding talent, weirdness and incredibly fucked up lives is what makes them unique.

Gee, Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson, both dead because they preferred dangerous pharmaceuticals to a puff of marijuana to help them sleep.

Cha Cha Walters says:

I could swear most of the Neverland raid pictures were made public at the time of the trial. I know I saw some of them years ago.

Here's what everyone ought to be looking at because it's just jaw droppingly over-the-top excess:

Click on each of the books to check out Jacko's junk.

I haven't had time to flip through the above-mentioned books from the juliensauctions link, but just judging from the first slideshow, I'm wondering how it is that on my crappy salaries over the years, I have better-quality stuff than MJ!

mikestrom says:

that painting is by greg hildebrant. i have met him - and use to know his agent. michael asked him to come to neverland for two weeks and paint. michael constantly watched him.
as i understand it - michael bought a hildebrant from his peter pan book and had it installed over his bed.
