Are The Twilight: New Moon Stars Gay?

A breathless call came in from a friend the other day. "I saw Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson on TV," she said, panting, "and I realized something: They're gay! They're bearding for each other! They come off completely 'that way'!"

Yikes! Could it be true? Two actors in a movie actually homosexual? (Rolls eyes.)

But wait a minute, I'm really not so sure.

Yeah, Kristen seems a bit butchie to me, but maybe she's just a free spirit with a brooding demeanor and a refusal to over-play the femme game.

And Rob doesn't seem to exude sexuality one way or the other, despite everyone on earth wanting him to be their personal pet. Besides, he's British, which often throws people off (though no, that's not the case with Ian McKellen, Boy George, George Michael, Rupert Everett, Elton John, and so on and so on).

So all I'm left with is one friend's gut feeling. Anyone have a strong opinion one way or the other? Are these really sucking each other's corpuscles or are they the new fill in the blank?

musto's friends don't wash says:

Pattinson, like all of Musto's friends, famously never takes a bath and so emits a putrid stench wherever he goes that has no sexuality or gender. That this filthy junkie-appearing creep should be the America's sex symbol is no mystery in a country which twice elected a creepy coked-up drunk and his coke-crazed homicidal car-killer wife to the White House.

I'm sorry Taylor Lautner looks so gay!!!! His nose resembles that of a Pig snout .

In most of his publicity photos he appears to be wearing full

Bill says:

People's maniacal obsession with who another likes to boink leaves me wondering if the war is over. Or if the 500,000 orphaned children in America without homes will ever be adopted. Or if every student in the United States should be issued school books instead of having to share. Or...

I could go on and on, but I won't.

However, if gay-obsessed heterosexuals would spend a little more time taking care of (I believe 'protecting the children' is their catch-phrase these days?) their children and a little less time worrying about gay folks, perhaps the country and its children would not be in the state of distress that they currently find themselves facing.

Just a thought.

Now go on back to wondering if Robert's pee-pee has ever touched a bum-bum or if Kristen has ever had a lesbian's nipple graze her arm or some other maniacal heterosexual crap like that.

Dennis G. says:

Oh, for crying out loud! Give it a rest already.

A homosexual friend of yours thinks his gaydar is pinging. So? Somewhere out there is some homosexual in lust with some "star" and claims they must be gay. (Tom Cruise, etc) How much of that is real? How much is "projection"? How much is that "star" really being gay? The chances of the homosexual actually meeting with and consummating a sexual relationship with the "star" are all but nil.
That the "star" connects with the audience makes that "star" bankable. Supposedly no publicity is bad.

This country is so obsessed with sex and sexuality. We would be a much healthier society if we finally got to the point where it didn't matter who we paired with.

Sexuality just "is", folks. Yes,denial happens. Many of us went through that phase.

Rupert Everett is not saying "don't come out" so even if Mr. Pattinson is gay, to keep his career beyond the 4 movies probably requires him to stay in the closet. Exposure ruins the fantasy of so many teen girls to pay to see the pathos of the movie.

If we, as gays, stop discussing who is doing whom, then maybe, just maybe we can set an example with the straights. Though it will make Mr. Musto's job of spreading the gossip gospel truth so much harder.

Posted On: Monday, Nov. 30 2009 @ 2:58PM
dickie says:

He didn't ask if Pattinson will come out. He asked if he's gay.

And if it's all projection, then no star in Hollywood has ever been gay??

Please, it's a fair question. And none of you have ever been the least bit upset or said "who cares?" when straight gossip or speculation about a star gets out.

Marlena says:

Neither one is gay...and how you would think they are is beyond me. Robert is the most handsome thing I've seen in a long time(and I know they say all beautiful men are gay). Kristen was in a 5 year relationship with that actor Michael Angarano who she also met on set. And Robert was in several relationships with women while in England.
The only thing about Kristen is she can't act....and poor Rob has to carry the picture for her. But whose looking at her anyway.

CMG says:

Robert Pattinson already did a gay role as a young Salvador Dali so it is a bit too late for a beard to make people think, though Mr. Gyllenhaal has made it through somewhat. I would say no, only because my dreams will be ruined otherwise.

Kristen definitely gives me lezzie vibes.

Taylor Lautner, I am sorry it it just uncomfortable with him. He's not even legal yet all I find are photos of him bare-chested and in a wet t-shirt. Gay or not, he is willfully ignorant of how many future stalkers he has with promoting his body like that.

CMG says:

Never said he was a good Dali, seriously a limey as as Spaniard (?), but he did go gay for the role. He'll always be Cedric to me.

I find the Harry Potter trio far hotter and far better acting-wise than what these Twihards make R-Pattz, Stewart, and Taylor Beefcake out to be.

It would be pleasantly ironic. The books are so chivalrous and Edward is not charming whatsoever, yet he is supposedly the 'perfect man'. The books are just so pro-abstinence and misogynist on top of poorly-written it makes me take solace I only waisted my time in the library for free. Plus Stephanie Meyer gives 10% of the books earnings to the Homophobic LDS church.

Thank you CMG for that bit of info. I'm glad I haven't wasted my time with that stuff..

So many young men look more and more fey anymore. There is something odd yet reassuring when you see boys and girls with matching hair and eye makeup pushing a stroller. The child wears a Disney one piece jumper featuring bouncing Tiggers. Mom and Pop could be twins. Hair the same color with matching streaks, both wearing eyeliner. One's in a black skirt, the other in pencil thin pants. Mom and Pop could pass for Mom and Mom or Pop and Pop. I hope it's some kind of statement of acceptance but who the hell knows.
I could care less who he sleeps with, as long as Taylor Beefcake keeps taking it off for the camera.

Well, I'm not sure, but some photos of R Patz are pretty gay. However he is model and actor, he could rather be playing just a role.
My inner self (I'm gay) says that he has great chances to be gay: he's not so manlike. (I'd love if he were gay, LOL).

I have no opinion, but Taylor does come off as rather gay. One can dream.
