Sarah Palin's Co-Author is a Homophobe!

Brace yourselves for something extremely not shocking, folks.

To co-author her new memoir--please go find the title yourself, I'm tired of mentioning it--Sarah Palin came up with some lady named Lynn Vincent, who according to this report has a history of suggesting that homosexuality is a disorder and likening gays to communists who wear dog collars.

Well, I may wear a dog collar, dearie, but I am NOT a commie, and I resent the implication of that! (I am definitely a columnist, though. Guilty as charged.)

At least this answers Katie Couric's unresolved question of just what Palin reads every day. Clearly the ex-Gov is a longtime subscriber to Offensive and Really Antiquated Stereotype Digest.

gayle king says:

what about that closeted muff-diving fat black lezzie Oprah devoting an hour to taking serious this demented fascist cunt Palin and then getting good press for being a "serious" interviewer ? And apparently Levi is not even showing his dick in the photo shoot -- all in all it has been a bad week for Musto....

CMG says:

There was a focus group done by CNN who did a conservative, a Republican (not sure why the conservative and Republican were not mutually exclusive), a libertarian, and an independent (which can mean anything and from what I saw she was a pro-choice independent). They all found nothing in either the book nor the interview. According to one of them 13 pages of the 432 page book are on policy while the rest is attacking the media, McCain campaign, and her who warped theory on abstinence with that whore of an elder daughter.

None of the women seemed to care much for her saying it was all sexism, especially the independent who was offended by her saying abortion was the 'easy way out'. Only the conservative seemed angered by liberals who think she is stupid and not substantive but at the same time admits the book and these interviews make her come off as not quite substantive either. None of them are bothering to buy the book and none of them were impressed by the interview.

BTW, is Sarah wearing a weave in these interviews?

Who else but a "journalist" with her unique qualifications as a crackpot would agree to co-author a piece of crap like that. The whole thing is frightening.

I looked up the title of her book and it's "Sarah Palin's First Book."

2cents says:

Apparently Sarah's book is already being marked down in price, though today is Release Day.

But strap in, folks. I remember all too well thinking in 2000 that nobody would be dumb enough to elect Bush (and the vote was close enough to be "legitimately" awarded by the Supreme Court). Palin has very powerful interests backing her, plus Faux News, plus a good portion of the "liberal" media, which has forgotten how to do actual reporting in favor of personality.

Her rabid fans are truly loony, and love her all the more whenever she's criticized by "New York" and "Hollywood Elites." Their love for Palin is in direct proportion to their hatred of Obama. They're not rational, but they are excellent at organizing their fellow screwballs to get out and vote.

So, make fun of Palin, but start gearing up to do your own organizing and activating for 2012 - or the nightmare will be on you!

CMG says:

I am not sure if anybody in 2000 realized his remarkable stupidity. Some people wanted to go back to being non-interventionalist and have lower taxes, which is what Bush promised and then of course 9/11 changed everything as Cheney was elevated while Powell, Rice, Sowcroft, and other people of Bush 41 took a backseat. In 2004 it was when people were still stupid enough to vote for Bush again. And in no world is either Al Gore or John Kerry at the level of charisma as Obama.

I say bring it on, for the Palin lovers.

Troofire says:

What troubles me, being a resident of Pennsylvania, is the shadowy specter of the man who served as our senator for 12 years. It doesn't matter that he was voted out (so was Nixon) but he's out there under the radar, traveling around the country, building up cred among the conservative loons, and I believe he will be the man, and I use the term loosely, that they will turn to as their savious when Sarah Palin self-destructs. I'm speaking about Rick Santorum. AAAArrrghh!

Vagino Dickson says:

Folks, I think 2cent's on to something. The comparison with Bush is worth mulling over a bit more (quite a painful process for me). I remember when commentators said Palin was worse because she didn't have Bush's Yale credentials and hard-core training and bourgie status, but try taking the perspective of the majority who voted for him. Palin's probably smarter (I mean we're talking about Dubya, aight) if only slightly. Her non-Ivy-League background - and, yes, her transfers to various small-time schools - give her prole cred, and her snowbilly hockey-mom aura banishes the sinister mystique that Dubya's incompetence foregrounded.

So if Bush was good enough for two terms, you betcha Palin, who's better (like 99 percent of the population), female, and even more conservative ought to have a shot - still the voters speaking, not me. The worst part is to have to accept that the American people can pull off this kind of stunt, but denying it can't happen won't stop it.

Vagino Dickson says:

Sorry, "denying it can happen won't stop it." And for the doomsday tone. Too much cheap wine probably.

Kyle says:

Hey, Hitler was taken as a joke when he started. She runs against Obie, who automatically runs cuz he's prez. The entire left hate Obie by this point and support a 3rd party. Hello President Palin.

Now, in fulfilling a republican tradition who could possibly be worse than her to be her VP?

Posted On: Tuesday, Nov. 17 2009 @ 9:31PM
CMG says:

The third party seems to be more brewing for conservatives than the left though sometimes I cannot take that seriously because the conservatives/Republicans are the first ones to come back to the plantation and rally around their candidate like sheep. I think the specter of Palin will be what would cause many on the left to actually do what Republicans have done since '68.

E says:

2cents - could not agree more.
We didn't take GWB seriously and we'll be paying for that blind inattention and delusion of the good guys will win for decades.
The right wing is now driven by stealth corporate interests while the left and moderates always swing between infighting, lazy disorganization & utter arrogance to amateurishly stealing dirty plays from the enemy. As an Independent I'd love to see a 3rd party come to power -but- I think that it would only serve to ensure a right-wing win. The force behind the right-wing machine may have favorites but in the end it does not care which puppet is in place so long as it is one of theirs. Do not count Ms. Palin out.
