Tom Ford Trashes St. Laurent!

Tom Ford - December 2009.jpg

Hairy chested fashion god Tom Ford has turned director, his debut A Single Man getting kudos at the Venice Film Festival en route to American hoopla and Oscar consideration.

And now, Tom has turned blabbermouth too, thankfully enough, in an Advocate interview in which he talks about his first gay sexual experience after a night at Studio 54 (Didn't we all?) and also about his dire days working at YSL.

Says Tom, "Being at Yves Saint Laurent was such a negative experience for me even though the business boomed while I was there. Yves and his partner, Pierre Bergé, were so difficult and so evil and made my life such misery...I've never talked about this on the record before, but it was an awful time for me. Pierre and Yves were just evil. So Yves Saint Laurent doesn't exist for me."

Evil people in the fashion industry? That's crazy!

penile extension ford says:

At least YSL and Berge did not get surgery to make their dicks look bigger, as Tom Ford famously did --

What about his dick? Wow! Fame certainly has its costs when you can't do something to your dick without everybody knowing about it! No, really, what about his dick?

Sally says:

There are so many evil Cunts in the fashion biz from all the people I know who have worked with Tom Ford they all have nice things to say about him. Anna Wintour and most of her staff at Vogue are horrible to work for .

Hope Toms film is a a big success for him.

Did he really do that to his dick? Or is that another urban legend like Richard Gere with the hampster?

This guy is so boring and affected, like all the guys in the fashion scene. Avoid them, they're narcissistic phonies, with little talent.

I wouldn't call huh a fashion god, Michael. YSL was a fashion god. Miss Ford is just tired and tiring.

K. says:

well, I for one am not narcissistic or phony. It's a horrible stereotype that I personally deplore.
This statement by Ford about Berge and Yves is tasteless. The man is dead (how much more non-existent can he be?) Ford should move on, from the controversy and stop fanning the embers of his dying flame/fame.
