Adam Lambert's New Boyfriend: Approve?

lambert.jpg
Glam singer Adam Lambert has stepped out with his new man, a Finnish reality show star named Sauli Koskinen.

Socialitelife got the photos, so now we can pore over them and try to figure if the guy is good enough for our Adam.

Not lookswise, because that's only superficial, after all.

But soul-wise, honey.

Diana Ross Comes Out Way on Top!

TheSupremes.jpg
My recent blog post called "Remembering Diana Ross's Appalling Behavior at Flo Ballard's Funeral" has long left the runner-up, "Adam Lambert vs. Clay Aiken: A Tale of Two Coming Outs," in the dust as it's soared to the revered position of my most commented blog of all time.

Partly thanks to an ongoing bitchfight between someone named Hector and the people who hate him (some of whom pretend to be Hector), this bitter battle full of both pride and stupidity has made it to the top slot, with 551 comments and counting, as I wonder "Where did our love go?"

Diana Ross Is Catching Up With Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert reacts to his own reflection.
My two most commented posts of all time are in a down-to-the-wire race, as singing legend Diana Ross breathes down the lovely neck of new star Adam Lambert.

This contest is even tighter than Bush vs. Gore, and I feel like someone can swoop in and steal Florida at any minute.

Adam Lambert is all over the place with his hit record, so I honestly don't think coming out got in the way of his making a huge splash at all.

Adam Lambert Is Too Nice!

adam-lambert-021610-15.jpg
via Celebrity Gossip
Adam Lambert--the gayest American Idol runner-up since Clay Aiken--showed up at the sparkly, fun fashion show by the Blonds last night, and was just too friendly and accessible.

Dressed like a refugee from a Vegas production of Phantom of the Opera, Adam was nice to everyone who greeted him, giving interviews to each recorder-wielding person who approached, whether from a major fashion site or a semi-obscure internet TV show.

Drag Queens Need To Update Their Acts

AdamCD111.jpg
I love drag queens more than life itself, and I appreciate the timeless appeal of their Bette Davis, Marilyn Monroe, and Eartha Kitt impressions. It's important to keep those amazing legends alive!

But if these impersonators don't mix it up and start updating their acts a little, they're going to become as obsolete as the Fire Island meat rack.

GLAAD Backs GMA For Dropping Adam Lambert

Thumbnail image for adamlambert1.jpg
UPDATE: Since I wrote the text below, GLAAD has adjusted (or maybe just clarified) its point of view. The gay watchdog group now says Adam WAS subjected to a double standard and people should express their frustration with that to ABC. Got it? Good.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's do a quick recap: Adam Lambert indulged in gay shenanigans on his now legendary American Music Awards performance. Everyone I knew was loving it, but not Good Morning America, which promptly canceled Lambert's scheduled appearance. Gay activists were furious, especially since the show went on to feature Chris Brown, of all people, as a guest! Was ABC saying that a lady bruiser is OK, but an open gay isn't?

Adam Lambert Got Peed on in Public!

400px-Adam_Lambert,_2009.JPG
He's already been crapped on (by this very blog, in fact--though I did it with love) and yesterday it was reported on various sites that Adam Lambert was urinated on in front of a paying audience!

The controversial singer was sitting in the front row at the downtown club the Box when a tranny performer onstage let forth a spray of wee-wee which hit him and no doubt mussed up his frosted makeup and luxurious, shiny hair.

It turned out it wasn't real pee--probably something like Gatorade, which they used in those old 550-PEEE commercials, as only my own inquisitive mind happens to know.

Need a Musto fix? Here's something to tide you over

Categories: Adam Lambert

Michael may be on vacation, but he wasn't too busy to give ABC News a soundbite for their breathless story on Adam Lambert's "racy" AMA performance.

Go here to see what words of Musto wisdom were included in the story. (And just ignore the helmet-haired morons who pop up automatically in the video.)

Out Magazine Responds To Adam Lambert's Response!

Out_Dec-Jan575.jpg
Let's recap: Out magazine blew the whistle on Adam Lambert's handlers for various demands they made so that he wouldn't come across "too gay" in the magazine.

Lambert fired back with remarks on ew.com saying the mag had crossed the line.

And now, here's Out's response to the response:

"We've no desire to prolong this discussion, but whether or not we crossed a line in throwing light on the conversations that preceded Adam's cover shoot and interview, we're glad to see such a robust and spirited debate. We admire Adam's achievements, which is why we honored him as Breakout Star of the Year, but using the editor's letter to discuss the old school tactics in the way he ismarketed and promoted was important for an annual issue that celebrates gay progress--the Out 100.
