Now O'Reilly Is After Me Personally!

Dwindling demagogue Bill O'Reilly has it out for me! The incredibly sensitive feminist-cum-loofa-enthusiast doesn't like the way people like me have been ragging on the semi-nude-modeling boob-implanted moralist known as Carrie Prejean. I don't watch O'Reilly's car wreck of a show, which is famous for him talking over his guests so he can make himself win, but a friend was flipping the channels last night and caught him calling me (and others like Janeane Garofalo) "fanatics" using "vicious rhetoric"! He feels we've been lowering the bar on discourse!!!!!!

The O'Reilly Factor Attacks Me!

Right-wingers--the same ones who are freaking because their antiquated views have lost power--don't like me! And I am thrilled! Laura Ingraham hosted The O'Reilly Factor on Friday and critiqued me for my satirical putdowns of Carrie Prejean on Countdown With Keith Olbermann the night before. She didn't care for the way I ridiculed the beauty queen with pre-paid fake titties and a predilection for "traditional values" (ie., an insistence on "opposite" marriage). Ingraham must be forgetting that slavery was once considered a traditional value and so was the idea that women shouldn't being allowed to vote. Just because a viewpoint is traditional doesn't mean it's exempt from attack--even a racy, grand-scale one like mine was. Prejean has the right to say what she wants, but I exercise the right to pick her apart, especially since she parades around like a piece of (enhanced) meat while spouting inarticulate bigotry.

Anyway, as a result of the show, I've gotten a bunch of hateful emails from yahoos calling me "faggot" and saying I hate women. (As if their God, Bill O'Reilly, is Gloria Steinem). And to them, I say: Thank you! You're just the kind of yoyos I don't want as allies.
