If you're not already choked up by the horror of the Connecticut elementary school killing rampage, this will really get you.

At the service for her six-year-old son Noah Pozner, Veronique Pozner said:

"I will miss your perpetual smile, the twinkle in your dark blue eyes, framed by eyelashes that would be the envy of any lady in this room.

"Most of all, I will miss your visions of your future.

Small-Time Porn Star Sending Severed Body Parts Around Canada?

Categories: Crime

Porn stars always deal in body parts, but not like this.

They regularly serve head, but not like this.

Luka Rocco Magnotta, 29--a two-bit porn actor--is the prime suspect in one of the most gruesome cases Canada has known since the rise of Celine Dion.

It involves three severed body parts from the same person being found around the place, with no apparent motive.

Everything from a torso found in a locked suitcase to a lopped-off foot that was sent to the Conservative party in lieu of a thumbs up!

Norway Gunman: A Terrorist Or Insane?

Aren't they one and the same thing?

Whether you kill innocent people because you feel you're on some inspired mission or just because you've snapped, you're still nuts.

As you know, Anders Behring Breivik set off a bomb and committed a massacre, killing 76 people in his native Norway.

Casey Anthony: One Of The Three Most Shocking Verdicts Of Modern Times

Casey Anthony & Dominique Strauss-Kahn: Not Enough Evidence

Categories: Crime

So we have two cases in which there's not quite enough backup to deliver the verdict you might fantasize about in your darkest flights of fancy.

With Casey Anthony, she definitely lied, evaded, and her car trunk reeked of decomposition, but there doesn't seem to be that 100 percent connection to the crime that would seal her fate.

Still, I feel she'll get a guilty verdict and many years in the clink. And she deserves it.

I mean, does anyone believe the kid drowned, but had to have her mouth duct-taped anyway?

Could Anything Be Sadder Than The Casey Anthony Case?

Categories: Crime

The whole thing fills me with deep-seated dread, and such horrid feelings I need to hose myself down every time I hear about it.

This is a woman who obviously had something to do with killing her daughter for whatever crazed, superficial reason (not that there's ever a more meaningful reason), and sent the cops on wild goose chases thanks to her terrible alibis and rickety excuses.

Don't Make Your Own Angel Dust, People

Don't treat it like just another recipe off the Food Channel.

Jerry Castaldo learned this the hard way, as he describes in his memoir, Brooklyn NY: A Grim Retrospective -- a gritty tale of dark struggle set in the '70s.

Writes Cataldo:

"Stevie and I had the bright idea that we could make our own Angel Dust and then sell it.

"Someone had casually told us that all we had to do was to boil formaldehyde until it was a powder, and then sprinkle it onto oregano."

Delicious, no? Or would you prefer cilantro? Well, it was definitely a hit this way, because people were lining up to buy the zingy miracle of herbs and embalming fluid.

By now, you've probably heard about Steven Slater, the JetBlue flight attendant who had an altercation with a passenger who was defying orders, so he made a crusty speech over the loudspeaker, opened the emergency exit, and slid down the inflatable slide onto the tarmac, eventually getting into his car and driving away.

Fortunately, the plane was on the ground when this happened, having just landed.
