Japanese Restaurant Week

Remember how weird/gross/fancy Molly Ringwald seemed when she ate sushi in detention? Japanese food has come a long way. Now little Manhattan kids are uni connoisseurs. So, it's fitting that the Japanese restaurant industry in New York should have its very own restaurant week.

Japanese Restaurant Week, part of a Japanese Food Culture Festival in New York, takes place during the week of March 4-10.

Participating restaurants span a wide-ish range, and are relegated to Manhattan. Instead of a set fee for lunch or dinner, restaurants may have discounts on pre-fixed lunch or dinner, discounts on one signature dish, or a special menu for the week.
