It's a Good One: Ginger Juice

In Sietsema's review of Dibiterie Cheikh in Little West Africa, it seems there was too much to say about the food, and no room left to reccommend the intensely spicy ginger juice ($2), which is made in-house.

Many West African restaurants in the area have ginger and sorrel drinks, but none that I've tried recently delivers such a potent slap in the face&em;and that's a good thing. The juice starts off sweet, but as it goes down, the medicinal burn sets in that makes you feel somehow powerful. Have you ever had a cold that made you dizzy? This is your remedy—ginger helps nausea because it settles the inner ear, and supposedly the same goes for dizziness.
