There's a New CSA in Town!

Categories: PSA

It's almost CSA season, people. Very exciting indeed, and if you're in downtown Brooklyn, there's a new kid on the block. Wisely using Chowhound as their conduit to the world of local eaters, Sweet Pea CSA introduced themselves to Brooklynites today:

Sweet Pea CSA in Brooklyn Heights
Based out of First Unitarian Universalist Church
50 Monroe Place

SweetPea Community Supported Agriculture Program has begun sign-ups for shares. We are partnered with a wonderful organic Long Island based farm, Garden of Eve, and are very excited about the fresh vegetables, berries, flowers and eggs that our CSA members will be picking up in our chapel on Wednesday nights from 4-7pm starting June 6-November 14th, 2007. To gather more information about the farm, visit www.gardenofevefarm.com. This is a program that is open to the broader Brooklyn Heights/Downtown Brooklyn community and has a limited share size, so if you are interested for this season you should sign up soon! Email us at sweetpeacsa@gmail.com. If you sign up and submit payment before April 15th, you get an early-bird discount.
