Now Hiring: Jeffrey and Zak, Franny's, Wallse

Categories: Now Hiring

by Telstar Logistics

Zak Pelaccio and Jeffrey Chodorow are moving ahead with their zany restaurant concept, in which the best of New York eats would be united on one menu. The restaurant will be called Borough Food & Drink. They're looking for cooks and even held a career fair this week! (Chodorow is also looking for line cooks at Wild Salmon.)

Franny's says: "We are currently building a team to help further our ability to grow." Does this hint at another Franny in the oven, or do they just mean "be the best we can be?" We can't say, but if you become their new line cook, be a dear and let us know.

Wallse I mean, a "Michelin star Austrian restaurant in the West Village" needs a new sous chef.

A new Southern Italian restaurant called Bar Stuzzichini is coming soon to the Flatiron District and they need cooks and managers.

Is this Porchetta? Or this?

BLT Market is opening soon at the Ritz. They're hiring all FOH staff now.

Again, we ask: Is this Anne Burrell?

Harold is still hiring line cooks.

Hell's Kitchen will soon be getting some kind of wine bar thing:

New Cheese and Wine Cafe in Hell's Kitchen looking for a chef with a passion for cheese, charcuterie, pickling, canning and artisanal/local foods. A great opportunity for an autonomous fine-dining line cook who is ready to step into a leadership role and wants to produce straightforward, high-quality/concept cuisine in a casual yet serious foodie environment.

Wayne Nish is looking to hire a sous chef and line cooks at Varietal.

Witchcraft needs a pastry cook and counter staff and an assistant manager and a commissary chef.

Former GM with (some) money wants a chef/partner to open a new restaurant in Brooklyn.

Some Internet people need a Shake Shacker -- a/k/a a "Shack Sherpa." [via open synapse]

If you've been letting your Czech or Slovak language skills go to waste, perhaps you should consider a summer job at Astoria's Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden. Or maybe if you just really love beer and kielbasa.
