Former Top Cheftestant Josie Smith-Malave, who has been in the news recently because she was the victim of an anti-gay attack, seems to have some much happier stuff going on. Clinton Hill blog has some early details on her new restaurant on Waverly and Greene. Smith-Malave told the blog her concept is global comfort food, and a neighborhood vibe that will attract lots of regulars.
