Clinton Hill Italian to Expand

This weekend, EfV sampled the food at Clinton Hill new(ish) Italian/"tapas" restaurant, Il Torchio. We were not blown away, but for locals, it's a sweet spot. Just make sure you ask for some salt, since, at least on the night of our visit, under-seasoning was a rampant problem. The other unfortunate element was a waiter who announced everything he brought to the table in a booming, overblown I-talian accent most inappropriate for a quiet neighborhood dinner. Dude, please. Still, it doesn't seem that this guy and the salt shortage alone are doing too much damage -- Il Torchio opened in August and is already gearing up to take over the space next door.
