Formaggio Essex, the fancy little cheese shop in the Essex Street Market, is looking for an assistant manager.

The Grey Dog is opening its 2nd location and looking for staffers who don't like to be micromanaged or screamed at. Apparently, this isn't one of those kitchens where some guy in white screams "pussy" in your face while you sear a tuna steak. Pussy.

A new 200-seat Creole-Cajun/French/Caribbean restaurant is looking for food-loving line cooks. "Please be passionate."

The Ronnybrook Milk Bar is staffing up in Chelsea Market!

You know what this city needs right now? A seasonal American restaurant. But one that even changes names and decor with the seasons! Park Avenue Summer need lines cooks and sous chefs. If it works out, maybe you can cook at Park Avenue Autumn next...

Yolato needs managers to help with city-wide expansion.

A new pizza restaurant/wine bar is opening in a couple of weeks. Here's a FOH manifesto from the owner.

Thor is looking for cooks.

Prune is looking for a "genuinely friendly" server/hostess. No fakers!

this is funny stuff, pussy. the moniker of choice when i was a wee line cook was "douche bag" as in, "beat it, douche." remember when G used to snap you in the ass with a damp towel? it was only slightly offensive, but you both loved it. ah, the good old days.
