Useless Information: Pinkberry is Hollow

Posted by Nina Lalli at 4:04 PM, August 29, 2007

Honestly, I am uninterested in Pinkberry, and really, any other frozen yogurt chain. But last night, a friend got real excited to stand in line for the stuff, and so we shared a 5 ounce cup of the plain yogurt with mangoes, raspberries, and rice cakes. I wanted to marry the rice cakes, but found the yogurt lemony, which is just not my thing.

The point here is, did you know that those towering, swirling cones are perfectly hollow? A quick google confrims that, in fact, everyone did already know this, and has complained about it. But did you think to fill the hollow center with the rice cakes? Huh?

yeah, its b.s. I love the stuff but it ges expensive real quick and tips over the $5 mark when you get a sprinkilng of fruit.

I mean look at the friggin picture you've got up here. Their looks like 3 raspberries in there and what did that cost you?!

I had an 8 oz-er yesterday. I don't like to admit this but I love it. Plain with mango, banana and pineapple. So good but I love a frozen yogurt.

everyone should send emails to pinkberry and complain.

I emailed them and they sent me this response:

Hi xxx,

I am sorry that your Pinkberry was hollow in the middle. This is an on-going training issue that we have been working on for a while. Would you be able to give me the location that you received the hollow pinkberry, and I will follow up further with that location, and I would like to offer you a medium 3 item combo on me for the inconvenience. Without your feedback we could not get better.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards,

Miguel Casiano
