Olive Drumsticks hit the East Village, Finally

Saint Marks Place is getting a little more cartoony and weird. Last week, a new bubble tea spot opened in a bright, tiled space that will also hold something called BBQ Chicken soon. The tag-line says "It's not barbecue it's BBQ," and whatever that means, the first part is certainly true. Judging from the menu, which is mostly photographs, it's a fried chicken place that uses olive oil to make such dishes as Olive Drumsticks and Teriyaki Wings. We'll keep you posted.
