Now Hiring: Moim, Primehouse, WD-50

Posted by Nina Lalli at 4:38 PM, November 8, 2007

We're taking all theories on who the Brooklyn-based food writer/personality is who's looking for an unpaid intern. Also, I need an unpaid intern. The perks include seeing me wear a muumuu and complain about how full I am.

Intern to Food Writer/Personality (Brooklyn)

Well-known food writer/personality is looking for a part-time intern/office assistant. You should have a good phone manner, Miscosoft Word and internet skills, be very organized, self-starting, and have good energy. Some food knowledge and a good appetite wouldn稚 hurt. You will be planning promotional events, performing clerical duties, such as inputting information into the computer, doing a little research, and keeping me organized. This is not a paying job but there are perks, including that you get to work with an established food communications professional. Hours and days are very flexible, as long as they are during the normal Monday to Friday, 9 to 6 workday.

Peter Berley, the "flexitarian" guy from Angelica's kitchen, is looking for a sous chef and a cafe front person at Broadway East.

Primehouse is seeking bussers. Do you really get to call it a three stars restaurant if the stars come from Crains? Just wondering.

Restaurant Saul, Smith Street's fanciest, is looking for a sous chef who knows was combat cooking is!

Some guy named Steven is looking for a BBQ chef for a new Upper East Side place.

A new Italian restaurant is coming to Soho, and the owner is looking for an executive chef who will "bring new ideas to classic Italian cuisine."

Moim is looking for a lead line cook.

An "upscale Asian" restaurant is opening soon on Sixth Avenue between 9th and 10th Streets. They're staffing up, which includes Chinese-speaking management.

WD-50 is in need of a pastry chef with plating finesse. Those who have never heard of WD-50 need not apply.
