The usual bowl of wonton soup carried out from a neighborhood Chinese restaurant is none too interesting -- rubbery, thick skinned dumplings in a broth that tastes like dishwater.

The wonton soup slung at Super Taste is different: a wealth of wontons bulging with scallion-scented pork, delicate as goldfish, thrown into the rich dark broth, glistening like an estuary pond in the sunlight, with plenty of green leafy vegetable and Lanzhou-style noodles that were thwacking on the prep counter minutes before.
