Ripert Defends Jamie Elimination

It looked like pure producer interference to me, but Eric Ripert defends Jamie's elimination. In a Bravo Q & A, Ripert is asked if Jamie's over-salted celery was really the "worst culinary crime that day." His answer?


Ripert says "By far, yes. Unfortunately we just couldn't eat it." Elsewhere he says "The black bass recipe was inedible. The celery was an embarrassment and the sauce was burned and way oversalted."

Oh Eric, I want to believe that Jamie's elimination was true and just, I really do. But I just don't know that another week of staged Leah-botching-fish/Hosea-reacting shots are really for the best. I just don't know.
