Top Chef in Sin City

Not sure how to feel about this. It's rumored that Top Chef season 6 will take place in Las Vegas at the M Resort, a new casino-tel located far off the strip and probably in desperate need of some promotion. Sure there are plenty of big name restaurants in Sin City but it's not exactly a culinary scene. Said restaurants always seem more there just to share in the extravagance, not for a love of food. But who knows, maybe Hosea and Leah's chaste kiss is only the beginning. Maybe Las Vegas could desecrate Top Chef like it did the Real World. Maybe one day the Quickfire will be replaced with scenes of the chef-testants practicing their mixology skills in a huge hot tub they call the "stock pot." [eater]
