How Do You Spell G-U-T-B-O-M-B?

Around Sunset Park, the pambazo has almost attained the status of urban legend. It's a sandwich said to have originated in the streets of Guadalajara, a hero-type roll first dipped in fiery red chile sauce, than heaped with cheese, onions, salad stuff, and meat or vegetable filling. Find this working class gutbomb at Xochimilco, just south of the park called Sunset Park, where the filling is cubed potatoes, making the sandwich profoundly vegetarian -- and profoundly filling, too. 4501 Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn, 718-435-7600
