Keeping It Kosher--Wine Recommendations for Passover Meal

Categories: Drink Up, Featured

It's that time of year again, when everyone likes to round up the best kosher wines to pair with traditional Seder fare. The Feed lists several Israeli Cabernet Sauvignons, including one from Bazelet Hagolan in the Golan Heights. Tasting Table offers up a couple less conventional options, such as the 2005 Capcanes Peraj Ha'Abib Montsant from Spain, which sells for a whopping $60, and the more reasonably priced 2007 Alfasi Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve from Valle del Maule in Chile. And Grub Street speaks to Michael Dorf of City Winery, who suggests Covenant Red C and Four Gates Merlot, both from California.

Our favorite kosher wine rec comes from Gourmet, which goes as far as to suggest an entirely kosher champagne cocktail. We recommend making it with Yarden's NV Blanc de Blancs.
