The 'F' Word & Its Etymological Roots

No, not that 'F' word. We're referring to the dreaded term: foodie. While we can't stand how eager people are to slap this ubiquitous label onto themselves, we have to agree with Adam Kuban that sometimes it's just a good fit. According to etymologist Barry Popik, we can credit former New York magazine food critic Gael Greene with coining the term back in the '80s.
