Food Street in Taipa, Macau lives up to its name as a delicious alley of tasty treats. I stopped at a food stand where this rainbow of snacks on sticks beckoned. The fish, meat or tofu-on-a-stick gets reheated in boiling water, then slathered in "original" or curry sauce.
I had the fish ball stuffed with crab eggs--delightfully fishy and spicy, and portable. These boiled streetside goodies were something like the dirty-water dog's more polite and prettier Asian cousin.
