The Obamas' date night in New York included dinner at Blue Hill. Was the choice of a seasonal, locavore restaurant politically driven, or did the Obamas just want to sample Dan Barber's farm-to-table fare?

Greenpeace paid a visit to Nobu in TriBeCa for an elaborate plan to plant fake menus as part of a protest against the restaurant serving bluefin tuna. The menus featured endangered-species dishes, like "Rack of Mountain Gorilla Seasoned with Powdered Rhino Horn" ($32.00), but the plan hit a snag when the fake menus were discovered.
