The Feedbag and Eat Me Daily weighed in on the discussion presented at "Gender Confusion: Unraveling the Myths of Gender in the Restaurant Kitchen," a panel discussion held at the Astor Center this week. Ed Levine of Serious Eats sat on the panel. Conclusion? Not really because the chefs "cooked in drag."

Eat Me Daily rounded up reviews of Food Inc., which range from unimpressed (from the Post: "The movie offers very little that food radicals don't already know.") to gushing (from NY: "The sheer scale of the movie is mind-blowing... the documentary equivalent of The Matrix.")

Grub Street and The Feed each had mixed feelings about the premiere episode of Top Chef Masters. So did we.
