Lakshmi to Remain on 'Top Chef'

TV Guide brings news that Padma Lakshmi will not be leaving Top Chef after all. Last week, Variety reported that Lakshmi had signed on to do her own cooking-themed sitcom, tentatively titled Single Serving. But Lakshmi told TV Guide that while she "will have a recurring role in [the show]...I have too much to do on Top Chef as well as my jewelry company." All of which means that both Top Chef fans and those still recovering from Glitter can heave a sigh of relief.
