More Marlow & Sons Movement

Along with news of Bonita's closure, Brooklyn Based brings word that another member of the Marlow & Sons/Diner fiefdom also has some departure plans: Caroline Fidanza, the founding chef of Marlow & Sons and Diner, is collaborating with pastry chef Elizabeth Schula and Rebecca Collerton, a line cook at Egg, to open Saltie's. The new restaurant will open in the Metropolitan Avenue space formerly occupied by Cheeks, a bakery known for serving superlative cupcakes with a big helping of attitude. Fidanza tells BB to expect "pastries, sandwiches, ice cream, and as much good food as we can produce out of a small space."
